Apr. 4th, 2005 03:20 pm Hallo

Sup,

I hope all is well with everyone. I love everyone. Everyone is coo.

So I don't know where to start so I will say that I am well and that today I officially did the stupidest thing in the world.

I am Santorini which is my mecca for rocks and the water is clear and the sun is out and the people are nice and its coo. Anyway, while on a boatride we stopped at some hotsprings. So a bunch of are down for going to them, and off come the clothes. Problem is the hot springs are like 100 feet away and to get to them we have to go through some regular water. What didn't seem to be a problem ended up being my downfall. We went in and it was basically ice cold water preceddeding the alright warm water. I have to say that it was the most alienating feeling my body has ever gone through. So much so that as I was shivering I got up on to the shore and climbed rock by the boat. My toes were numb and yet instinctively I could only think of one option. When I got close to the boat I still had to swim. As I got onto the boat I thought that although adventerous, it was probably the stupidest thing I have ever done.

I'm sorry if the story is anticlimatic, but I am getting old or something cause that was some fucking cold water. All done.

Oh and last night as all my peers had to drop like 20 euro tabs, I earned 2.50 for going out, partying and drinking (free shots for hitting on waitress, 1.50 tall can at corner shop and winning a bet that I could climb a building kinda drunk for 4 euro).

Thats all I got guys, I love you all and miss you. More than I thought I would actually. Stay safe and know love.

Peace, Love and Unity
Rich

Dec. 12th, 2004 01:02 pm Like OMG Stress

Hey guys,
Like I'm a freaking out cause studying is so hard.

I like study and then have to study more and its like tough.

I'm mean we have to learn and remember and be smart and that is a lot to ask of a student. I mean, I thought College was about a good time.

So, now that I have not enjoyed sleep for 64 hours and only have 23 more hours of studying left, I have made a decision. I'm like feeling so smart for having like been reading and writing lately. Its almost like I have accomplished something. So in addition to my daily installments of Aderoll and Red Bull/Coffee morning mixes, I have decided that I will pick up my Speed habit again. Like I have come a long way with my studies and want to award myself by dumbing myself. I bought a sheet of Mescaline Tabs and will consume them the mintue I have turned in all my work. It will be so fab. Partayyy! I have also decided that I will get back at school and smoke some opium. That way I will sleep and have great visions for this earth, in whcih I will do nothing about. Hphmm, like school does anything for me at all anyway. After I have relaxed, I will be so awesome with my friends. We decided that we would buy 4 ounces and reside in a smoke circle for 17 hours. I want those brain cell dead. It will be so awesome, much more than it is to do stuff. Like what is this school stuff all about? Fuck learning, it is a waste of time. I'd rather complain about finals and be really stressed about it. I've been telling my friends about it all week and they are stressed too. We all have been having a stress party. Woah, Patay! Fun Fun Fun.

Well, I have to go burden myself with knowledge for 23 more hours. Then it is partay time. Woot Woot.

***This entry is not aimed at anyone particulary, as this has been a sentiment held by a lot of people lately. I just think it is funny and I hope everyone realizes that we will all survive finals and be better off for it. Peace out Cub Scouts. ~rich ***

Studying is fun ... till it hurts. That is why I am taking a short little break.

Anyone got any good jokes?

Soooo,
Because of LJ, I am glad to know that everyone is doing good and I hope everyone gets through Chem (Lisa).

On that note, I have some good news to post. After Scat left Chi town, I realized how happy I am with Allison. I proposed to her and she said yes. We are going to hold off on the wedding till Summer and we are going to have it in Colarado.

When I first mentioned it to my parents they disowned me. That was last week. Now they support me and will even come to the wedding. That means I expect you guys to come too.

What can I say, I am so sure that we will make it cause there is a true love between us.

I can't wait till Summer.

Well I have only 9 people on my friends list, so here it goes:

1)You have been my neighbor for more than 6 years, but only about 3 years ago did we start conversing over such matters as "gay" and "fag". Oh, and there was that time that I insulted you in front of SUPA class that you will never let me forget.

2)I'm not really sure how I met you but I know you have the honor of being beside me for my first tattoo.

3)Bio Lab sessions at yer place in which absolutely nothing got done. Spanish with Juan Bobo. Currently we rock the lincoln park.

4)Only person with a picture of me with my red hair. You know, by far, the most amount of embarrassing stories about me and yet you are still my friend. I think my friend for the longest time since moving to the suburbs.

5)Although I am known for spending lots of time with yer dad, I still am good friends with you. I have been known to drive through a silly state to visit you, and helped you clean your pad before you moved out.

6)I trusted you with leading Amnesty and haven't regreted it. You have the funniest stories as well as the strangest jewelery.

7)The only person I love more than you are the persons that were in yer campers this summer. Co-founder of Leftover Crag and someone who has the ability to make smile without even trying.

8)Has tried to convince me the Grateful Dead is better than punk like squirell trying to dribble a basketball. Partner in crime by snatching photos of people driving past us while on route to Maine. Founder of "find the fun" and knows about the love of Trick.

9) There is not a time when you are not stressed but you seem happy being so. One day you spotted me wandering around Cornell. We went to that awful diner in Katohnah and are a solid person. Additionally, you will marry one of the Tres Amigos. Which one? I dunno.

Alright, Peace for now.

I have been waiting so long for tommorow to come.

Now that it is here, I am begging that people gather the energy to vote. If you registered, you already did the hard work. Just stand on line for a couple of secs and vote. If you get bored, call me.

If Kerry wins, there is not a doubt in my mind I will be streaking through the quads.

Peace and you will be hearing from me when the election is decided. Rich.

So, ummm should probably leave a post.

A lot has changed in my life in the past months, so If you want to know about it, call.

I guess everyone should want to know that I am about to celebrate my one month with my Girlfriend Allison. This is the first one month I have celebrated since, guess who, Joy. I figure I will either make her a shirt with her fave lyrics or sing Elvis Costello's Allison. Eventhough the later option seems so classic, I will have to refrain from it in order to not be a jagbag.

Other then that, I spoke to Greg and the plans for January first to fifth are cementing...all who want to go make yer reservations now.

Peace Out Red Sox Scout

"the big sleep" by Streetlight Manifesto

One should download this song before reading this entry BUT annotated it's all about wanting to be remembered as the best thing in a girl's life right before she slips away for the big sleep.

I don't know what to make of it, but I don't miss the big exes of my life. For those handful of girls who meant everything to me, I just want them to at one point in their life miss me, and realize they missed out on something big. I constantly wonder if they ever think of me. As far as missing them, I don't really. I think it means that I'm self-consious about myself but all I want to do is find out what they truly think of me and in what do light do they.

SO untill I invent the long distance mindreader, I will carry these sentiments.

Peace ~Rich

Jul. 8th, 2004 04:51 pm Remembering and remembering why you forgot.

Where was I when I was Junior?...okay. Well a couple know that how I was three years ago.

BUT how about where was I when I was a freshman? Only a handful of people remember me from then. In fact many of my current friends, I met after Junior year.

What does it all mean?

I dunno.

BUT if you have a pre-junior funny story, post it.

Peace ~Rich

Jul. 1st, 2004 09:10 pm Wait...ummmm no no. RICH...they dont Greg you like I Greg you.

Guys, it is the middle of summer. Are we livin' it like like we anticipated it to be during the school year? Well, for me, Yes. Much love all around. Lets just throw in a couple more ping pong sessions and shows.

It's beautiful thing. If we in fact go to Canada and keep our money into the school year, then we are living the dream. I am right now living the dream except for the lingering notions of what work is expecting me in the fall. For now though, everything is golden.

I swear I just got the best idea!

Compromise for all those who like to drink alcahol but do not like going to the diner. I will get you guys Kaulua to put in your coffee.

I'm so glad I was able to reconcile that difference in agenda amongst the friends.

Peace. Rich.
